Divan and sofa legs are accessories attached to the bottom of upholstered furniture such as sofas, armchairs, divans, etc., raising the furniture from the floor and providing both aesthetic and functional benefits. They create air circulation between the floor and the furniture, facilitate cleaning, and add elegance to interior decoration. The correct leg selection complements the furniture's style, offering an integrated design.

Both products essentially share the same mounting system but exhibit some differences:

• Divan legs – Generally shorter (8–15 cm), wide-based, and have high load capacity; they are fixed to the divan frame with screws.
• Sofa and armchair legs – Produced in more aesthetic forms; conical, cylindrical, or hairpin models are prominent. Different heights (10–25 cm) can be chosen according to the sofa's style.
• For both types, M8 or M10 screw attachment is standard; they can be directly installed into the existing furniture's threaded base.

The choice depends on carrying capacity, aesthetic expectations, and budget:

• Metal (steel) legs – Highest load capacity, long lifespan; ideal for heavily used sofas and divans.
• Aluminum legs – Stands out for its lightness and corrosion resistance; preferred for humid environments and minimalist designs.
• Plastic legs – Economical, lightweight, and quiet movement; models with floor-protecting base pads offer practical use.

Carrying capacity varies by material and model. Plastic legs can carry 80–150 kg as a set, aluminum legs 150–250 kg, and metal (steel) legs 200–400 kg. In a four-legged piece of furniture, each leg carries one-fourth of the total load; therefore, metal legs should be preferred for heavy divans and heavily used sofas.

Payanda Metal divan and sofa legs are standardly offered in matte black, bright chrome, matte chrome (satin), gold, antique bronze, and white. Installation is extremely practical. Standard models are screwed directly into the screw holes under the furniture with M8 or M10 screws. For furniture without screw holes, a flanged connecting plate can be used for easy attachment to a wooden or MDF base. The average installation time per leg is 2–5 minutes; no extra tools are required.

Yes. Payanda Metal furniture legs are compatible with standard M8 and M10 screw sizes used in the market; you can directly replace them by finding out the screw hole size of your existing furniture. Yes. It is possible to use felt pads or non-slip plastic glides at the bottom of all our models; these accessories are included in the package for most models. They prevent the furniture from sliding on parquet, laminate, and tile floors, protecting the floor surface from scratches. They also reduce vibration and noise.

Yes. Wholesale orders and proforma invoices are issued for furniture factories, upholstery workshops, and importers. Special pricing is applied for orders of 50 units or more.
